1. What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials (email/password or Google OAuth token). When you use Cook, we collect the product URLs you paste, the hooks and scripts generated, your BrainScore results, and your interaction data (favorites, edits, deletions) used to build your Voice Fingerprint.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Generate and score hooks, scripts, and delivery notes
- Build and improve your personal Voice Fingerprint
- Process payments via Stripe
- Send transactional and product emails (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- Improve the product through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics
3. What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- We do not share your hooks, scripts, or Voice Fingerprint with other users
- We do not use your content to train models for other users
- We do not display your content publicly
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects and processes your payment information directly. We never see or store your full card number.
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics to understand how people use the landing page and app.
- Microsoft Clarity — session replay and heatmaps to improve UX.
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in method. We receive only your email and display name.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secured servers. Passwords are hashed. API access is authenticated and rate-limited. Sessions are invalidated on password reset. We use HTTPS everywhere.
6. Your Rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@cookugc.com.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Clarity) are used to understand usage patterns. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
